 This Privacy Policy explains how Local Blast LLC ("Local Blast," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information. It applies to users and business partners who access or use any part of our service—including our mobile apps, website, APIs, and communications (collectively, the “Service”).
By using Local Blast, you agree to the terms in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or app notice. The latest version will always have the “Effective Date” above.
- What information do we collect?- We may collect the following types of personal information: - Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, business name (for merchants), and account usernames. - Geolocation: General location (city, ZIP code) and, with permission, precise GPS location for delivering local offers. - Commercial Info: Vouchers claimed, redeemed, shared, or created; business transactions through Stripe. - Device Info: IP address, OS type, mobile identifiers, browser type, and crash logs. - Network Activity: Usage patterns, clicks, sessions, referral data, push notification responses. - Payment Info: Collected via Stripe for business subscriptions (we do not store payment card data). - Inferences: Preferences based on interaction history, for future personalization. 
- How We Collect It- We collect data from: - You: When you register, update your profile, interact with the app, or send/receive blasts. - Your Device: Through cookies, app logs, and geolocation services. - Third Parties: Including Firebase, Google Maps, Stripe, OneSignal, Twilio, and GoHighLevel. - Social & Referral Networks: If you connect or refer friends via Facebook or invite contacts. 
- How We Use It- We use your data to: - Power the core app experience (account, feeds, blasts, redemptions) - Process business subscriptions and payments (via Stripe) - Notify users of real-time offers based on location - Send updates, support messages, and occasional promotional content - Analyze usage to improve features and reduce churn - Test new features and measure effectiveness - Prevent fraud, abuse, or technical issues - Comply with legal obligations 
- How We Share Information- We share personal data only as needed to operate our platform: - With service providers: Stripe (billing), Firebase (backend), OneSignal (notifications), Twilio/GHL (messaging) - With merchants: To verify voucher claims or provide analytics - With law enforcement: If legally required - In business transfers: If we undergo a merger, sale, or acquisition - With consent: When you explicitly grant permission - We do not sell your personal information. 
- Data Retention- We retain your personal data as long as your account is active, and as needed to: - Provide services - Maintain business records - Prevent fraud - Comply with legal obligations - You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7). 
- Security- We implement security best practices using encryption, secure APIs, and access controls. While no system is foolproof, we continuously improve our security based on industry standards. - If you believe your account has been compromised, please email us immediately at admin@localblastapp.com. 
- Your Rights- You have the right to: - Access the personal data we hold - Request correction or deletion - Object to data use or limit processing - Request data portability - Opt-out of push notifications, SMS, and marketing emails - Use our “Do Not Sell or Share My Info” form (for CA residents) - To make any requests, email us at admin@localblastapp.com. We may verify your identity first. 
- Your Choices- You can: - Disable location tracking via your device settings - Opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link - Disable push notifications through app settings - Set browser privacy options like “Do Not Track” - Note: Opting out may limit your experience with Local Blast. 
- Minors & Eligibility- Local Blast is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect or allow minors to register or use the Service. 
- Third-Party Links & Services- This policy does not cover third-party platforms (e.g., Stripe, Google Maps) you may interact with via Local Blast. Please review their policies separately. - Local Blast is currently available only in the United States. If you are accessing the app from outside the U.S., you do so at your own risk. 
- California & GDPR-Specific Rights- CA residents may request disclosure of information shared with third parties. - You may opt out of the sale/share of personal information (even though we do not sell it). - GDPR users may contact us for access, correction, or deletion under applicable EU law.
